Type of Employment : Full Time Fixed Tenure Contract

Method of Recruitment : Walk-In-Interview

Tenure : Initially for a period of one year, extendable on satisfactory

performance by one year at a time - or attaining the age of 65

whichever is earlier.

Eligibility : i. i Category : Superannuated / Retired / Voluntary Retired Officers from

(a) PSUs including Hindustan Copper Limited; and

(b) Government including IBM / GSI / etc.

(c) Private Sector

ii. ii Qualification : Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mining Machinery

iii Experience : Minimum 20 Years in Mechanical Engineering cadre with Mechanical Maintenance of the equipment and processes of Copper Smelter and Refining Plant consisting following Unit operation and conversant / expertise in the following.

(a) Smelting

(b) Converting

(c) Anode Casting

(d) Electrical Refining

(e) Utilities - Compresses Air, Steam, Water, etc.

(f) Power Plant

(g) In depth knowledge of Underground working and its installations.

(h) Complete design, erection and commissioning of shafts and other installations being used in Underground Mining.

(i) Detail engineering of Underground shaft equipping.

(j) Sound knowledge of Technical documentation.

Age : Should be less than 63 years as on 01.03.2017

Emoluments: Rs. 51,500/- per month or last drawn Basic Pay whichever is higher subject to Clause

Schedule for Walk-In-Interview: The Walk-In-Interview shall be conducted on 09.03.2017 at 11:00 AM at Hindustan Copper Limited, Corporate Office at Tamra Bhavan, 1, Ashutosh Chowdhury Avenue, Opp. ICE Skating Rink, Kolkata - 700 019 for the contractual appointment of Advisor (Mechanical). The candidates are advised to report at 10:00 AM for verification of certificates, testimonials, etc.

The blank prescribed proforma is attached. The candidates are advised to submit their application in the prescribed proforma on 09.03.2017 before Walk-in-Interview for Scrutiny.
