- Role purpose and contribution
The Software Integration Test (SIT) Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, writing and running unit tests, and debugging online gaming platform software programs. He or she is considered an expert in software testing, supports engineering activities such as test, checkout and modification.
Role Accountabilities :
Software Testing Experience -
Black Box + White Box Tester (Combination of Both is preferred) with C / C++ knowledge
Works as a member of a project team to analyze use cases, produce detailed quality test scripts, code, tests, debug, configure and document software.
Identifies performance issues.
Defines test cases and maintains them throughout the development life cycle.
Actively participates in the development of a variety of test suites including functional, regression, usability, stress/load, etc.
Develops and maintains test cases, test scripts, and test databases.
Report bugs discovered through manual testing or via
analysis of automated test results
Software Testing-
Reviews user and help documentation.
Evaluates application releases in conjunction with release management and reports if defined requirements have been met.
Ensures entrance criteria are fulfilled before testing; ensures exit criteria are fulfilled before test signoff.
Troubleshoots problems that arise during testing.
Creates proper problem reporting which allows development to understand and correct problems.
Maintains accurate and appropriate records on all tests performed and related results.
Works closely with development engineers to review, architect, and recommend testable design.
Creates quality bug reports and track defects from submission through closure.
Follows established testing standards, processes, and procedures.
Works to ensure the delivery of high quality, virtually defect-free systems and documentation in a timely manner.
Identifies and resolves test problems with Engineering, Compliance and regulatory agency requirements.
Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Compliance-
Ensures themselves and colleagues abide by OHS regulations for their work site.
Demonstrates OHS practices including OHS reporting.
Proactively approach OHS with positive lead indicators.
Participates & engages in all elements of the Aristocrat Due Diligence framework
Zero Compliance breaches.

- Experience & Qualifications
Requires a minimum of five-Seven years experience Black Box + White Box Tester (Combination of Both is preferred) with C / C++ knowledge
Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or its equivalent.

Passionate about delivering quality software on time and continually refining processes to improve efficiency.
Experienced in creating and executing test cases and test scripts from Functional Specifications, User Stories, Use Cases, or Business Rules.
Software Testing Experience-
Understanding of quality assurance testing methodology relative to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking and tools.
Experience with Source Control such as Subversion.
Communication Skills-
Able to communicate ideas to the business effectively both in written and verbal forms
Adaptability-
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and must have the ability to organize, prioritize & execute tasks accordingly. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be team oriented
